September Cafè y Cultura: Mexican Independence Day from a Decolonial Perspective

Join us on September 16th at 7pm Via Zoom for our monthly Cafè y Cultura! this month’s topic will be hosted by historian, activist, and poet Citlalli Citlalmina Anahuac who will pinpoint crucial elements of what that independence looked like to the majority of Mexicans at that time and offer a critical decolonial perspective of the community members.

The event will take an hour long, for the first half Citlalli Citlalmina Anahuac will be giving her presentation while the other half will be open for community members to offer insight and ask questions! Spanish and Mixteco translations will be available for this event! Come network with local artists, creatives, and activists!
