Ocean Conservancy’s Plastic Free Future

April 12 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join Ocean Conservancy, an environmental nonprofit dedicated to protecting our oceans worldwide from today’s greatest global challenges, at their free event, “Plastic Free Future: A Vision for California’s Coastal Resources,” on Friday, April 12 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Environmental Hub in downtown Santa Barbara.

During this event, you’ll hear from advocacy, science and policy experts who will discuss California’s pressing plastic pollution issues and the harmful impacts on our environment. We’ll dive into Ocean Conservancy’s strategic and effective policy initiatives aimed at reducing plastic production, promoting recycling and combating pollution for a sustainable future. After the presentation, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a lively Q&A with our experts to gain valuable insights. Then we’ll cap off the night with a reception where you can connect with guests – like-minded individuals, fellow ocean advocates and enthusiasts, community leaders, elected officials and speakers while enjoying light appetizers and refreshments. This event will enable you to feel empowered and equipped to take meaningful steps toward a plastic-free future, armed with tangible actions for your Santa Barbara community.
