The Oak Group Presents – Foothills Forever
Benefiting the Foothills Forever Fund
May 2 – May 29
“Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees”
Continuing their 36-year tradition of calling attention to and supporting the preservation of open spaces in the natural world through their artwork, the Oak Group members are proud to hold their spring 2022 art show benefiting the Foothills Forever Fund.
Foothills Forever is a coalition between Save San Marcos Foothills, the šumwič Chumash and Channel Islands Restoration. Together with the Santa Barbara Foundation and an excellent leadership team, the group has acquired the West Mesa of the San Marcos Foothills with the intent to protect it as public open space. The Foothills Forever Fund is currently finalizing two significant grants and raising funds to pay off two short term loans and create an endowment to help maintain the property. The property is currently managed by Channel Islands Restoration in cooperation with Foothills Forever and the Allemall Foundation.
The show will be held at the Santa Barbara Central Library’s Faulkner Gallery at 40 East Anapamu Street in downtown Santa Barbara and will run from May 2 through May 29. A reception with the artists will be held in the Faulkner Gallery on May 5 from 5:30 – 7:30pm.
The show will also be viewable online at these sites:
