We invite you to join us on Thursday, June 29th from 3:00-5:00pm for the Central Coast Regional Equity Initiative’s Community Action Convening, co-facilitated by The Fund for Santa Barbara and Evolve Equity. We’ll gather to learn about community-led, participatory, and Indigenous approaches to research, and what this means for equity-centered advocacy and organizing. We’ll share insight into the community-led Strategic Action Plan, which marks a significant milestone in our journey toward a more equitable future.
This event is not merely a gathering—it’s a vibrant celebration of diverse voices and collective empowerment. Together, we’ll co-create a dynamic space to build an empowered community and practice reciprocity through shared learning and exploratory activities.
The Central Coast Regional Equity Initiative aims to understand regional disparities through producing and evaluating key equity indicators. We advocate for social, health, environmental, and economic equity through region-wide cross-sector collaboration, community and research-informed action, and an indigenized and decolonized approach.
